Joystiq Closing Doors
« on: 02 February, 2015, 09:40:35 pm »

RIP Joystiq/Massively

AOL owned, Joystiq, is being shut down, taking with it the mmo-centric news site Massively, as well as WoW Insider. The closing was confirmed by content director, Alexander Sliwinski, on twitter. While all employees are said to have lost their jobs, some may become part of Engadget, as Joystiq originally was a spin-off from Engadget. Best of luck to the staff, and its a shame to see the sites go.
