Joint Operation MoX SoV
« on: 30 May, 2013, 11:01:52 am »
The first MoX SoV joint operation will be held on sunday 2.6.2013 18:00 GMT.

The aim of the operation is to join forces between MoX and SoV to reach that platoon size and see how an organized platoon effects the battlefield.

We’ve agreed that our main goal is to go into battle and win rather than worry about empty facilites.

More details during Friday.

Starting time

Operation will start 2.6.2013 18:00 GMT http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

Organization

I will be platoon leading. We will keep however many strong infantry squads, 10-12 people, we can and have generally higher battle rank people who can't fit into the infantry squads to work directly under the platoon leader accomplishing whatever tasks platoon leader needs done, such as scouting the next base, pulling scout radar flashes, infiltrating, pulling air or capping back satellites.

VS and NC were trying to break the TR indar lock for most of the night so we definitely had a lot of challening fights and we lost quite a few of them, a lot of pressure all night.

Fought DWQ at the Saurva I guess overflow depot, the west base of saurva, and had a pretty tight fight which we ended up winning.

Actually managed to cap back the CP at Alkaline something next to the warpgate when there was less than 20 seconds on the clock with Alpha and Charlie flanking the enemy behind, but ended up losing the base.

Was definitely very challenging to lead 3 infantry squads and a few guys in the delta squad for invidual tasks. I was getting enough towards the end of the operation when I asked Redcat to take over, Im definitely squad leading next operation.

Was a good operation for a first one and I think it can only go better next time.

We have Redcat, Jointnevyn and Penassa willing to platoon lead the next joint operation, unless you want to have one of the mox leaders platoon leading. Should discuss the date next week.

Thanks for the fun!

It got a bit hairy in the end, but with most TR forces tied up at the biolab there's not too much one can do. Start was great though.

Looking forward to the next one!
