In a first for Auraxis, if not for all military history, the New Conglomerate and Vanu Soverignty succeeded in ambushing each other at the same time today. Despite having formally united in a pact known as the “Axis of Evil” the lack of professionalism and utter lack of morality of these enemies of human kind saw them at each others throats after a New Conglomerate representative offered to pay a leader of the Vanu Soverignty for a look at “some freaky alien artefact” and was subsequently melted in plasma for perceived sacrilege to the many tentacle alien god of Vanu.
The two armies were engaged in a genocidal attempt to wipe out all resistance to their perverted social visions and enslave the good people of Auraxis. Terran strategists have ascertained that this alliance came about between these two radically difference factions because of their shared hatred for all that is pure, honourable and decenct, allowing them to put aside their disagreements to forge a union of evil and to bring about their stated desire of a thousand years of darkness.
Fortunately, early responders from the Terran Republic including a detachment of shock troopers from the Malevolents of Xibalba and Sound of Violence outfits succeeded in pinning the enemy advance in the Peoples Amp Station of Dahaka, bravely sacrificing themselves again and again until the enemy pact eventually crumbled into a no holds barred bloodbath between traitors, enabling the weakened armies of the rebels to be driven far back into the furthest corners of Indar.
Commenting on the situation a representative of the high command said:
“While the NC argue amongst themselves over stock options and the Vanu kill each other as they try to decide on what their founder actually said two hundred years ago, the Terran Republic stands more united than ever before. Complete victory is within our grasp if only we can stand together”
The NC and VS weren’t reached for comment.
