I have always wanted to play an instrument but it has never been very easy for me, i guess im just not musically talented, i tried the key bored but stopped after primary school, i now have a drum kit but very really use it. But i have always been interested in old folk instruments like kazoo's harmonicas and Accordions. I have a few harmonicas but again i have never driven myself to try and learn it.

I stupidly just bought a £30 kids Accordion  of ebay, (it said it was good for any 1 just wanting to start out) and im really gonna push myself to try and learn it. So i was wondering if any1 else has an interest or plays any of these types of old school instruments?

yes im weird i know!

i know Ann Pierlé plays a accordion, if you are looking for songs to play.. she is a beautiful, and pretty good singer/songwriter in belgium. She makes pretty special music tho, you either love ot, or just dont get it.

Poor Tinny, you're a leo. Thus you try lots of things and then move on to something else.

I'm like it too. Accept it, be ajck of all trades and master of none.

Man I'd love to play the drums...currently learning the Cello - again

If you don't have the patience you'll never learn, playing an instrument well takes a long long time.

I agree, don't think theres anyone that can just pick up an instrument and be good at it.

Really gotta keep practicing to get anywhere, something i don't have the will to do for the bassguitar..only sporadicly playing.

I'll post a link of an uber-song in accordeon after work.

I know the feeling to above sentiments, if only I put in as much time and effort to my guitar as much as I do Guitar Hero 3, I'd be a superstar

Princess Bonjela? Ace Rimmer. There'll be time for explanations later, and hopefully, some sex.

Tinny, may i recommend you learn to read music primarily then choose an instrument second.
Our integrity sells for so little, but it is all we really have. It is the very last inch of us.

So true, been through guitar, drums, keyboard/piano, sax in my attempts to "play" an instrument.  I just didn't have the comittment to force myself to learn properly
