Enbee certainly appears to have a dry sence of humour ;)

edit: which is a good thing :)

As far as I'm concerned if you have a concern you talk to an officer of that specific game. No use going on ranting on the forum while I've already expressed my feelings and talked it over with Enbee.

So, the sole purpose of the recruitment threads are for the applicant to apply, and an officer to start a trial/decline the application?
Nobody else should comment?

i loled

why would i care about some thing i have no idea about how would u even go about doing that

You could show interest in the thing, e.g. explaining why you chose that specific thing or answering the form in a mature and respectful way. There is probably a reason for those questions to be in there.

By writing things like:
Quote from: Enbee date=1314334064
What other games apart from WoW do you play?: cs/css hon/lol sc2/dow tf2 blah blah
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Im a pala /faceroll
ABOUT YOU AS PLAYER: annoys me whn people fail on ez stuff
Which one(s)? smelly cats / alot more
Why did you chose the class you are now playing and the professions you selected?: Paladins face roll
Do you know anyone in MoX who can vouch for you?: u can
Why you want to join MoX?: was either this or learn Portuguese
...you appear to me to not really care and at the same time act immature and disrespectful to the guild you are applying to.

What if you applied for a new job as computer tech and wrote in your application:

What other computer related skills do you have?: I know perl scripting, java, debian OS blah blah
ABOUT YOUR WORK SKILLS: Im a comp tech /faceroll
ABOUT YOU AS A CO-WORKER: annoys me whn people fail on ez stuff
Which other companies did you work for previously(s)? smelly cats / alot more
Why did you chose to educate yourself to be a comp tech?: Comp Techs face roll
Do you know anyone in our company who can vouch for you?: u can
Why you want to join our company?: was either this or learn Portuguese

Do you think you'd get the job?

surely that would come from actually playing with the people and joining a few raids.
That is certainly a good way of showing interest and caring, but MoX is not just WoW, and you are applying to MoX as a whole.
We are many members that get our first (and probably only) impression of you as a person from your application.
That impression will last, if you ever decide to try on some other games under the MoX umbrella.

Makes me smile that someone would write some thing like this and not think it through.

To be perfectly honest - this is getting completely out of hand.

The WOW armory http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/grim-batol/MoX here states the characteristics MoX is looking for for their WOW community.

Now the only thing in addition a player signs up to is the Charter.  Its one thing to display personality in the terms of humor or jokes and until you actually know Enbee as a player, like the officers have demonstrated, its difficult to pass judgement on his application with the exception that he wants an English Speaking Guild, who is keen to progress in the content and to have fun whilst refusing to be in groups with people who can't grasp basic game mechanics - that's the purpose of a raiding guild with progress right?  The forum is public to anyone who registers and its a personal choice how much personal info is applied.

It, as already clearly dictated by Officers, has been discussed ingame and deemed acceptable.

Can I just add also, that this was a group of experienced players who approached the guild for a a new home when 4/10 quit gaming for IRL reasons.   As far as we were all concerned, this forum post served as an introduction as opposed to an application.  Its absurd to think that any person in their right mind would apply the same amount of diligence to a gaming introduction as they would to a contract of employment... of which may I add... has all details held in the highest regard to privacy and confidentiality laws governed by the EU.

Now if I may direct you to an earlier comment of mine whereby I stated, our only form of acceptance was to adhere to the Charter... that in essence makes us all equals regardless of the game we serve within MoX.  Several sections within there could be considered breached by the condescening, stigmatic approach some of you are having here.

The main concern is... does Enbee administer the core characteristics of a Raider as defined in the advertisements?  Does he come prepared?  Does he apply himself fully and become engaged with players?  The answer to those are yes.  Does it matter what his humour is so long as he has one? The officers have spoken and I'm quite sure their rank pulls higher than mine and yours alike and granted, we all have an opinion but theres a difference between forming constructive criticism and being completely out of turn.  To continue to try and validate your opinion time and time again, whilst demeaning the player, only determines the calibre of person that you are.

If you think hes immature, then do not rise to the bait and be the mature player.  Do the right thing?  If you can consistantly liken this to IRL situations like employment then exercise the dignity you would have there.  If you have an issue with a colleague or a new start, approach the manager.  Do not flame people in public.  Only the weak hide behind computer screens on a continual basis belittling people and feeling themselves elate.

Rant over.

As been said before, the officers have taken care of this matter, so be kind enough to leave it a rest and move along.

As Said many times IN here, It's been dealt with IN GAME and nothing more needs to be said.
Nothing against anyone, this just needs to end.
