The Shades help raise more than $700 in ExtraLife

Tomorrow Nov 2nd is the last day of ExtraLife - Play Games, Heal Kids donations.

I am proud to say my little part of the fundraising has, at this point, raised $795 and overall Team Turbine has raised more than $48k for the cause! MoX and The Shades have helped greatly by donating an exclusive LOTRO in-game concert as a reward for a lucky winner of the draw.

My part of the donations will be going to the international section of Boston Children's Hospital, which treats kids from all over the world where treatment isn't otherwise possible.

Follow the drawing of rewards tomorrow, which are mostly LOTRO related, but include home-made cookies as well! ;)

Well done! But I cannot help to think how much would have been raised if you included a pack of peanuts with the concert. I mean, how are you going to enjoy the concert if you have no peanuts? (and no, the answer is not pie!) :D

Actually I decided to take the easy way out and offered COOKIES in stead as an extra incentive ;)

The thought occurs that it's not too hard to make cookies with peanuts in them, however a salty cookie is quite disgusting so i see the reasoning here.

Serious congratulations, it's a wonderful thing you doing this.
