Good day friends. My name is Lhak. Some of you may have met me in the past, for i wander everywhere in the Middle Earth, in seek of inspiration for my paintings.
Oh i have not always been a painter, and my past has it shares of wounds and errors. But after almost losing my soul, my reason and my life under the curse of a shaman from the hillmen, i am like... reborn, strong from the experience from the past, but also fresh like a newborn.
In the process i have lost friends from the past, and my beloved.
I now am trying to rebuild a new life, made of art and friendship.
Of course you may find me strange, strange ideas, strange philosophy... but i swear you that i am not a bad person, and that i let only love and respect guide my behavior.
I'm maybe not the most useful person in the world, i spend most of my time to wander and dream, fascinated by the changing shape of the clouds, the colors of the bushes, and some crazy questions about... everything really...
But i'd be very happy to put the few good things i have gathered in my heart at the service of the Shadows' community.

I am Pascal, 42, male, french.
I roleplay since almost 30 years. First pen and paper roleplay, then since 1999 online. I started on Ultima Online, Europa server, then since four year in Lotro, on Laurelin.
This character Lhak, is my main and has a pretty rich background, but i have been these last months focusing on roleplaying my little hobbit among the wonderful Shire's community (Lingard, People of the Shire). Now, i wish to rebuild Lhak's life, a life full of social interactions and adventures, and of course, paintings :)
There's one thing i especially love, it comes from the time i was writting scenarii for pen and paper roleplay games : it's making and playing scenarri, mysteries, stories, adventures, for my friends and everyone interested in participating :)
Of course, in lotro, we are more limited by the mechanisms of the game for such things, but with a bit of imagination, a lot of things are possible ! (ask for example the Shades or the theatre group of the Shire ;) )
I also am able to create, design and manage phpbb forums, decorate webpages, if you need, and am very motivated to help in any way i can.
Well, i don't find much more to say for now, but i hope to meet you all and that we can share a lot of fun and creativity together :)

Your two weeks will fly by I can assure you so take every opportunity to get together with your kin
I'll take your trial from when I got a chance to talk with you in game and add you to the kin, which was Saturday (your agreement to abide by the charter officially started your trial).

I'm now since two weeks among you, and i can't imagine to be elsewhere... i'd be so very happy if i can stay :)
Now, i'm supposed to ask for sponsors, and to be really honest i don't like it.

Fridays event was a excellent example on a recruit willing to put some effort into a Kin so he gets to know us faster, and we get to know him.. I think people like Lhak is a great addition to a Kin as a whole..
