ABOUT YOU:
Name: Stuart
Age: 30
Country: Scotland
What other games apart from Planetside 2 do you play?: Not much online; a little Total War or SC2 when I've got time.
A bit about yourself: I'm 30, I work on an IT helldesk and I've got a particular fondness for shooting (virtual) things till their dead. I did play WoW from around 1.4 till MoP, and have no intention of ever feeding that addiction again.
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER:
Character name: CookieMonstah
Main class: Engineer
Secondary class: Infiltrator / Heavy Assault.
Battlerank: 20
What are you mainly certing into (main class, vehicle, leadership etc.)?: I've spent quite a few certs into tanks (especially the prowler); I'd like to spend some certs on the heavy assault and max in the future too).
How often do you play Planetside 2 (typical weekly playtime and which hours)?: Varies depending on work schedule, but usually a few hours a night. Likewise the hours tend to vary, but usually somewhere between 5pm and 11pm GMT.
ABOUT YOU AS PLAYER:
Do you have Teamspeak 3? (Voice communications is essential to our playstyle and it's highly recommended you get a microphone if you don't have one already): Not installed, been relying on in-game voice so far. It's not a problem to install it though.
Have you been in another outfit? (Yes/No): Not with my TR character. I have accepted random outfit invites on my VS and NC characters, but those outfits are (shockingly enough) pretty bad, and really not what I'm looking for.
If so: Which one(s)? And why did you leave?: See above.
IMPORTANT:
Now when you are done with the "basics", we want you to explain a little about different aspects of your main class.
Main Class: Engineer
Why did you choose the class you are now playing as your main class?: I enjoy driving tanks and using max's, so the engineer seemed a logical choice. I've also found it pretty easy to earn certs with repairing generators, turrets etc and dropping ammo boxes when my tanks are on cooldown.
Certification specialisation:
What is your main focus when it comes to spending certs?: So far I've been spending mostly on the engineer (ammo & repair tool) and the prowler, with some extra points put into burster max's and the skyguard. I'd like to put some points into heavy assault in the future though, with a few points probably going into a mineguard/ams sundy and the medic at some point further down the line.
If certification refund is implemented and we ask you to cert into something specific, would you do it?:
Possibly. I cert into specific things because I enjoy that particular play style; I'd need to be convinced my certs would be better spent elsewhere before I laid out cash re-cert.
Guild:
Do you know anyone in MoX who can vouch for you?: I've met a few players over the last few days from your public squads - I apologise for completely forgetting all your names though... :S
Why do you want to join MoX?: As above, I've been in a couple of your public squads and had a lot of fun; everyone seems fairly relaxed and there seems to be a fair amount of teamwork.
What type of guild are you looking for?: I'm looking for a reasonably laid back atmosphere to relax and enjoy PS2. Teamwork and squadmates who use voice comms is a bonus. The last thing I'm after is an outfit that takes itself too seriously; I've already got a job, I'm really not after another one (especially one I don't get paid for!)
What are your goals when playing Planetside 2, what do you want to achieve and how long do you plan to keep playing?: I don't really have any set goals in mind with PS2 - I enjoy it, therefore I play it. If there comes a point where I stop enjoying it, I'll stop playing it. I do have a six month subscription running atm, so it's likely I'll be around for a while; given the additional features Sony are implementing, it should stop the game getting stale any time soon.
Additional Information:
Confirmation that you have read, understood and agree to abide by the MoX Charter (Yes/No): Yes
Is there anything else you feel is relevant to your application or that you would like us to know? Thanks for all the fish.
