The Shades have played on many different type of events:

-Weddings
-Birthday/supriseparties
-Kinevents
-We also have our little hobbitband ProudFEET that plays cheerful songs. Might be suitable for balls, hobbit events.
-And we also host our own events. Like the concert in Ravenmere, Breeland Festival ground, The forges in Thorins Hall and at the party tree in Shire

We do not play coversongs from Reallife. All songs are owncomposed mostly by Achazia Songweaver and a few is made by Abergar Gildensong
The songs varies from ballades to uptempo songs. So I think we have songs suitable for anykind of events.
We try to pick inspiration from Medieval music or other genre we think would suit a world like Middle-Earth. You can have a look on our links to see what kind of music we play:

The Shades are a friendly bunch of players that mainly plays music for fun. We do not have any restriction on type of event nor do we excpect reward. Though we prefer a little bit RP atmosphere at the events. But don't need to be hosted by a RP-Kin.
But of course we are quite proud as a band. So unpoliteness, harassing, interruption is not tolerated
