I joined you guys briefly online last night. I'd like to join MoX. Was with another outfit on a different server but it seemed to be all about the guy in charge. It was a bit lame.

So, I wasn't quite sure where to post this. I'll post in recruitment as well. Just wanted to make sure.

What are you mainly certing into (main class, vehicle, leadership etc.)?:
Main Class
How often do you play Planetside 2 (typical weekly playtime and which hours)?:
Generally about 8hrs/week, from 1400 to 1500 and from 2000 to 2100 on weekdays. Also sporadically on weekends.

ABOUT YOU AS PLAYER:

Have Teamspeak and mic (although my living arrangement prevents me from using my mic during the evening. Specifically, it pisses my girlfriend off. Non negotiable).

If I'm honest, my level of skill is not stellar (my k/d ratio normally sits around 1/1 when I'm playing solo) but improving.

Have you been in another outfit? (Yes/No):
Yes

If so: Which one(s)? And why did you leave?:
Played with TWISTED's Aircav for about a week. Left for two reasons:
1) comparatively little fun to be had. Mostly just listening to Twisted tell everyone how fantastic he is (just watch any of the YouTube vids, you'll get what I mean)
2) my non-response on mic was taken as suspicious (despite actively using chat) and I was accused of being a spy. Didn't think that was a great way to make new players feel welcome. Left

Infiltrator

Why did you choose the class you are now playing as your main class?:
I love sniper classes. Pure and simple. Achieving that impossibly long shot is really rewarding.  I've found that flanking into no-man's land and counter-sniping is also hugely fun. 

Also, I've noticed that sometimes there isn't a great deal of spotting going on. I've seen battles go south because TR only realised the nature and disposition of the enemy too late.

Certification specialisation:

What is your main focus when it comes to spending certs?:
Main character, mostly, with a view to cert for mosquito addons.
If certification refund is implemented and we ask you to cert into something specific, would you do it?:
Sure

Guild:

Do you know anyone in MoX who can vouch for you?:
Not yet. Fallen invited me to check out the site, but that's it.
Why do you want to join MoX?:
To be honest, you guys look serious, but not overly serious.
What type of guild are you looking for?:
Flexible, willing to accommodate my play schedule but one that I can actually engage with when I do play. My play time is limited, so when I do play, I want to achieve results, not mince about.

Hey Crispy.

Thanks for your application, your two week trial starts now.   At the end of the two weeks you will need 3 sponsors from the moxies you have gamed with, so try and be as active as you can. 

Dont worry about the mic issue, we have a number of guys who dont use mic for various reasons, but as long as you can hear us it makes things much easier.

So you know Crisp, there is a Alliance operation on Saturday evening.  We normally start at around 19.30 GMT.  We work alongside some of the best outfits on Miller in a combined operation, so if you are available come along for the fun

That sounds amazing!  I can't wait.  Real-life notwithstanding, I'll be there with bells on (bells, camo, surpressor, infra-red and combat boots, in fact)

Had a play around yesterday with a few of the lads.  Good fun.  I think I'm going to be very happy here.

Hi crispy, just letting you know we have training night on Tuesday where we run through tactics.

so, yeah, guys i'm going to need an extension on the two week trial period.

i've been on a few times and rubbed shoulders with a few of you, but i haven't been able to get on during any of the Tuesday night training ops or much of anything else.  Work's been cray.  had people staying with me.  blah blah blah.

Fallen, you've been great letting me know about stuff and everyone else i've interacted with has been super cool.

Still very much keen to join but I think I need to go through at least one training night before I could reasonably ask any of you to sponsor me.
