MoX assault on Amerish

28th February 2847

MoX together with the might of the Terran Republic Allied Command forces, made an assault on the NC and VS forces stationed on Amerish today.  While the TRAC initially assaulted the VS in the south it quickly became obvious that the NC command was also focusing on our territory and forces.  And so as the Terran Republic was assaulted from both the South and West, MoX initiated a diversionary attack into the North Western NC territory near Sungrey West Gate.

Although no enemy forces were encountered, we quickly moved into the NC Arsenal, again with little resistance.  We then were able to push into our final objective of Auraxicom Network Hub.  As predicted large numbers of NC began to move in to resecure, which immediately took pressure of the TR assault on Crux Headquarters to the east of our position.  MoX bravely sacrificed themselves to give the TR forces an opportunity to gain the upper hand.  We were pushed back into the hills to the north for a brief time by the NC forces, but they quickly pulled out in Sunderers to assault the TR forces lead by GOON which were fighting to hold Rock Slide Outlook to the south

Here the NC made a huge error.  By not dealing with the MoX forces, we quickly pushed south into Auraxicom, and then after hacking the vehicle terminals, pulled 4 of our patented Battle Bus Sunderers, and moved up behind the NC's deployed Sunderers, acting as mobile spawn facilities, and wiped them out one by one, totally decimating the NC assault, and saving Rock Slide Outlook.

Due to a large contingent of enemy aircraft reported in the region of Auraxicom Substation and Auraxis Firearms, MoX deployed as a heavy Anti-Air squad in the hills to the west of the substation, and proceeded to dominate the air, taking out multiple scythes, liberators and galaxies belonging to the VS as they attempted to assault the substations position.  MoX held this position for much longer than the TR held out on Auraxicom Substaion and were eventually overwhelmed on the third attempt by combined ground and air assaults.

The final action of the evening was fought from Blackshard Tungsten Mine.  MoX initially moved South West as Anti-Air to help clear the large number of NC fighters and gunships that were currently holding the TR forces from assaulting Crux Headquaters.  The air was quickly cleared and MoX troops moved to a position North East of Crux behind a rock formation.  Here MoX would hold the line for over half an hour, while the TR and NC forces moved back and forth between Blackshard and Crux.  With Bursters covering the Air, Heavy infantry and engineers dealing with infantry and vehicles, and Sargent Bullborn shooting down the NC Phoenix rockets with his Onslaught equipped MAX, MoX held firm.  Even a full scale assault from LSD forces could not breach our hold on the position.  Finally our TR comrades pushed back out from Blackshard and into Crux Headquaters and with MoX moving to cover the North West flank, nearest the NC spawn facility, the TR were victorious in capturing Crux from the profiteering hands of the NC corporate militia.

At this point it was felt that MoX had done its work for the day and were rotated out of combat to return to main base, change into our jimmies in time for coco and bedtime :)

For those who haven't heard of it yet, even with a single squad thats well organised and outfited you can be reckoned as a Zergfit...

(I don't know how Imagehoster are handled in this Forum, so I hope this one's OK)

As mentioned, ignore my typos, i had swarms of scythes and libs to shoot.

Changed the article pic to a local-hosted one. The old one was slow and didn't always load.

This was the old pic:
