Hey Araknah,

Thanks for applying to MoX!
I'm just wondering; since you applied as hunter/DK, which one do you prefer to play and do you feel you excel in the most?
We've got room for both a hunter and a tank in our raiding teams, but we really want people to play the class they feel most comfortable and they know all the ins and outs of ;)

Looking forward to your response!

I would prefer the hunter because i play this character since vanilla, but i also understand the drill of being a blood DK aswell, so you guys can take the pick imo

apply seems fine but you might want to take the 1 point from careful aim and put it in sic'em and even tho it's major clyphs I would at least switch out mending for either raptor strike (for progress raids), ice trap or trap launcher seeing as you don't really need that 1 since pets barely take dmg these days. And I wouldn't go for immolation trap but I'll let that be up you to decide at least but just saying the benefit from it isn't that high

statswise you need more haste than mastery as the stat prio is crit > hastery > mastery.

On gear you i'd see to it that you upgraded the 2 carnelians you've socket but appart from that everything else looks fine  :)

As for your Death Knight, I think the overall idea is fine, however, in your spec there are some odd things (might want to move from Crimson Scourge to Imp Blood Tap for more Death Strikes, and a point from Scent of Blood towards Will of Necropolis (the 3rd point in scent isn't that useful)), and you really might want to reforge some parry to dodge, as you want to balance dodge rating and parry rating due to diminishing returns. Also for your OS you might want to remove 1 point from the extra runic power, and drop it in something else.
Also, your gemming seems a bit inconsistent, one side going for mastery, other side stamina...
We'll try and get to a conclusion which character you are needed most on, and we'll get back to you asap :)

Alright so here's a summary:

On your hunter
 - You are below hit cap/aren't reforged right.
 - Spec it not optimal.
 - A wasted glyph which should be better used as mentioned by Chromatic.

On your DK
 - Spec it not optimal as mentioned by Szemere.
 - Diminishing returns is something every tank should know what it means, thus balancing Dodge/Parry as much as possible.
 - Not really following your gemming, are you gemming stamina or are you gemming mitigation? Since you already have 2 stamina trinkets I'd go for mitigation personally, but would love to hear your reasoning behind that.

All in all I'm kinda disappointed, you applied with both characters, but both don't seem to be 100% top notch.
We've cleared DS Normal now and aren't looking to babysit and tell people what they have to improve. We expect people that apply to MoX to be on top of their game. That we aren't hardcore doesn't mean people can slack on spec/gear.

Conclusion, I'm sorry, but we're declining your application.

I would strongly advise next time if you make an application, read up on as much as you can, make your character look top notch and know your class inside out.

If you wish to join as Social, to play with some old friends such as Warguard and Viti, then that's cool, but I don't see you in one of our raiding teams as I'm typing this reply.

I think he should be given a chance,

He always was a valuable member and knows his class (hunter) and his dps was good.. he just returned from being away for several months.

and as he stated himself he was just messing about with his trees. so if he copies chromatics build/gemming/ reforging.. i think he can be a valuable member

We're currently looking for raiders to progress into heroic Dragon Soul. What we ask is having at least the basics down, knowing where to read up on your class, knowing how to abuse mechanics, and being a valuable contributor. Simply copy-pasting off another raider is not how you get into a raider spot. Especially copy-pasting reforging and gemming, while you should sim all these stats yourself every time you get a new piece of gear, and copying builds, where they can be situation specific, just does not show us that you are a heroic-ready raider.

And on top of that, people that just return from a break, usually only get offered a social spot, and only a raider spot if they have considerable heroic progress in other content, and even then they will have to prove to us that they can pick up the current type of heroic raids in a very small timeframe.

What Sagiv posted still stands, when we recruit DPS, we currently are looking for raiders that can help us move forward, and not ones that we have to help getting ready for content we already cleared. As said, there is no such restriction for social applications.
