Hi everyone, this is my application for the kinship.
ingame character: Wondy, Elf Minstrel (more to come)
IRL: 25 year-old male from Finland. I'm currently working on my thesis, so I have some extra time to spend in Lotro I've tried alot of mmorpgs during a 5 year period, such as silkroad, cabal online and Warhammer online and have a longer history with WoW and Rappelz.
I want to join this very kinship, because I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'm not a heavy role-player, I enjoy playing in a more mature company and I like a guild/kinship, where there are always people online to chat with Also, I'm a total noob in this game, so I am really going to bug you with all the stupid questions I have (such as what is the meaning of life and where do dwarven-babies come from). I hope, some day I can offer something for the kinship in return, like helping future rookies or healing some end-game contents.

And as Daimon says, watch out for Malth. He's the black sheep of the Kin, but somehow he managed to take control of it nevertheless. Wonder what that says about us then.

I don't have an issue with the Finnish, just Daimon. One day I will have him executed, shortly followed by Yuroo!
Anyway, back to the official stuff!

Wondy has been quite active in kinchat in the last week, and in game in general while rivaling my LM xp speed... He joined our little hunts in GA with his minstrel, he managed to die few times without getting all gloom doom and tears - like all good minstrel should - but also to keep us alive in some less than epic moments in the maze and definately looks like a good prospect for our pve teams ...
I think he could be a nice addition to our kins, hence he deserves my first ever sponsorship.

Due to my own lack of activity lately i havent been able to group with Wondy but the few times i met/spoke to Wondy were solely pleasant and he gives me the right vibes... it wont be enough to sponsor but i do think people who grouped with him and liked it should!

Just as a reminder, you do not have to have grouped with a recruit to be able to sponsor them. Interaction in kinchat etc. is also a very valid method to judge someone by. If you have spent enough time interacting in anyway with a recruit (even just observing how a recruit interacts with others) to form an opinion then that is what we are looking for.

I always base my sponsorship on how I think the recruit will suit the Kin from social matters, and then I often observe how the recruit present themselfes in Kinchat. Wondy seems very nice, funny, polite and social. I think he would be a nice additon to The Shadows
