Hello MoXies,
You may know me, you may not. However I come to you in peace and would love to have some kind of communication with some of the MoXies I have grown to miss.
At this moment in time me and Kate no longer playing WoW and have not been for a few months and instead being focusing on our soon to be born baby boy and playing Aion here and there where we then of course bumped into Durin.
I would love to be once again part of the community that got me to where I am in life, how I met Xan, how I got a job abroad thanks to Lanksi and Flanges help in giving me technical knowledge with PC's.
All these things were thanks to MoX, and to be honest, I wouldn't be where I am today without you guys.
For you WoW guys, do not worry, I will not be bothering you guys and I will stay out of the WoW forums, as I agree with the possible frustration we may have left you in. And the way I left was indeed irresponsible and selfish but I needed to know if my interest in the game would improve if I jumped ship. ( it didn't really.)
So here I am, at the front door, hoping you guys would take me onboard so I can once again be let lose on the forums, and hopefully continue my piloting skills in PlanetSide 2 :)

Hehe I did get an email saying I have been selected to participate in testing :) We shall see because Kate wants me to game less... but we will see how that goes.

I know there will be those who quite plainly are against my joining MoX and if I'm honest the idea would not have been at the forefront of my mind a year or so ago either. All I will say in defense of my application is that I'll not hold a grudge over a computer game because it is petty, much like the original course of events. Whether or not some of you like it, I have been a part of the MoX community for a long time and will continue to be whether formally invited or not. When my best IRL friends make up such a contingent of your community it is only natural. Thank you, if you made it this far.

If this were Facebook I'd like the above quote, but its not so I shall just repost it and say that even if I was not allowed to return, my history here is not as impressive as Ryu's but my sentiments are the same. I ask that he gets the chance to return to those that mean so much to him as its not only him who thanks you for how you've changed his life but me thanking you for the exact reasons he is now who he wants to be.

Im a bit torn on this subjest i really like ryu an part of me says yea just let him back in its only a game and his a decent fellow.
But then i dont think it would be fair on others who have left to join differnt clans/guilds ect an been refused reaplication even for differnt games then the one they left.

I can't see why you shouldn't be welcome back to MoX, all the other stuff is history anyways ^^

Tbh.. I've hated one thing about MoX ever since I joined.. the huuuuge amount of grudges and personal problems there seem to float around :)
It's not been much recently but when I joined a few years ago there was quite a few around, let it go and accept that people's life takes them different places.. it's a compliment people are comming back, not another sneaky way to pester you life ^^

Ruy & Xan, I hope both of you are re-admitted asap. I made my personal feelings known when you were originally removed, so I wont bring it up again here.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but I just miss the forum talk really, the funny videos and obviously seeing what game may interest MoX in the years to come.
I can write an application if you wish, you are part of the council after all :)
Edit: Wilbur did leave on personal terms if I remember correctly, or to play a game with friends I can't remember specifics. So the comparison is far off :P

To be honest Tinbum, it is a valid argument.
But I did not join them before leaving MoX. I posted up my post, then left and jumped ship. All within the space of 5 minutes which is the naughty part.
As you can expect guild chat was rather negative and aggressive when I had placed my post so I left only a few minutes after my post, the way people had acted only pushed me to go but that was then, and I don't hold grudges.
All of it can still be found somewhere in the WoW section. So even if I have to wait for a game to come out, then I will accept going through a full trial. If I get rejected, then I don't know what I will do, but we have to wait and see what the council say.

We are currently all taking a breather from the heated debate, then we have to discuss a new proposed colour scheme for the 3rd choice forum skin, and retroactively discuss things we could have done differently with Age of Conan. We'll get to you at some point, its just priorities you understand?

If you want a second chance, sure like I said, I'm all up for giving people second chances.
But the fact you left MoX and were in Refusion the same evening basically means you already were assured of a spot, which in my eyes is joining them before leaving MoX. At that point it really didn't matter anymore whether you had written that post or not, because you already had made up your mind. You might as well just have left without saying anything, because you didn't discuss anything with any of us..
Besides that most of us only read the post you put up AFTER you said in /gchat that you were leaving. So please don't say we were the ones pushing you out of the guild.

Sagiv, I don't remember what I had for dinner last night let alone how people were against me and Xan that long ago. Some things were said in the heat of the moment, and I not making it out as an excuse. I merely stating the facts as I remember and you are right, this was something that I spoke to Teki about for a very long time and kept saying no to until things changed and I had changed.
But I neither play or have interest in WoW anymore and to be honest I was a silly twat the way I did it.
I would prefer to not go right into detail, cause I know what I did was wrong on how I did it but I don't regret having tried. :nea:

Only spent a brief time with Ryu and Xan when I joined MoX but they really made a good impression on me,
I mean how can u forgot those ppl :p I remember that night very clearly.. and from what I remember Xan took a hell of
critics before even doing anything.. =S
Anyway this is not something that I can personally effect so I leave it up to you guys, just wanted to point out that in my opinion they
are good ppl and it's not like they emptied the Guildbank and ran of to Vegas. :tease:

As an officer, usually that's something you discuss :)

If you're a core Raider and officer and the rest of the group is highly dependant on you, then yes. I do think it would be appropiate to announce it upfront. It's even in the MoX charter that if you wish to resign, you need to do so upfront and not just 5 minutes before quitting.
d. Resignations
i. If any existing Council, Captain or Forum Officer wishes to resign they should inform the other MoX staff.
ii. There will be a 2 day cooling off period where the officer has the chance to reconsider.
iii. If they still wish to resign, they will be demoted to Member rank. As their last act, they should inform the members that they are standing down.
iv. Replacements, if required, will be facilitated using the above procedures.
v. The resigning officer is free to re-apply to any officer role they feel they meet the criteria for in the future.

Although its like everthing in life, negatives outway the positive, even if there is one major event. But I did do allot for MoX as well, instead of this one mistake. As Squared would like me to say "I brought peanuts!"

Sagiv, you're all about "the rules" but did you ever stop to think about how your now being a complete hypocrit? You've said "Yeah for second chances" now it's "Oh but the rules say this that and the other" now you're just making it almost impossible for him to have a second chance - so rather than pointing out things that have been discussed, re-discussed and back again please make a post relevant and new.
If you'd like to be technical, you've noted "Council, Captain or Forum Officer" I would like to point out that neither I nor Ryu were any of those things at any stage. Ryu was a Raid Leader, and I was Recruitment Officer. So please, before quoting double check your facts.
Naril, I want to say thank you, for you're the person that has actually stated something that a lot may not know, and that is the length of time I sat in MoX being abused through Guild Chat, and not just the odd word, but full blown accusations and I hadn't even left, I hadn't even decided on whether I was leaving and because Ryu made a decision I was forced out - and yeah yeah, I've had the "well you wouldn't have left him" but that was MY choice, and I didn't even get a chance to make it.
I'm done with this conversation, I'm bored with people digging up pointless comments, and I want the flaming to stop. Ryu deserves a second chance, and if I don't get one, then I don't - but I am not sitting here reading people continuously making comments about all these things "he could have done" when they said themselves to give him a second chance.
It's in the past, he doesn't want to play a game you play. So either move on and let him stay in contact with his friends, the reason he's reapplying, or keep out of the thread. Your annoying posts when he would probably never be in contact with you again seems stupid. Does it really bother you that much you just need to troll?

Well, since they won't be playing WoW, there is no point in arguing about WoW related stuff anymore.
It'll just turn into something none of us wants.

Apparently Tinbum needed an explanation of why it is appropiate for people to share the fact they're quitting MoX WoW, which is why I wrote what I wrote. I merely used Ryu as an example of how not to do it.
Also I think that these rules that apply to the forum ranks, should just as much apply to in-game ranks.
And I will still stick to what I said, which is that I'm all in for giving second chances.

Well i don't know for sure what went down in wow when Ryu and Xan left us only heard a few things after, however that being said they still deserve a second chance because they have done many good things for the community in the past (before your time Sagiv)
I have had many good times with Ryu in different games, he was the Captain of Aion, he was my duel-partner in healing in WotLK, he was also the guy who also recorded the awesome pirate-night in wow. I haven´t had so much time with Xan yet (because Ryu keeps hogging her) but they are a blob these days so buy one get one for free.
I salute you for using the rules Sagiv because the rules are there for a reason but this time i think its safe to say that you can take the rules and shove em! (i mean this as a joke) even thou he did a bad thing i kind of counter the good with the bad and the good wins in this case. People will always leave in anger (i think i have the record btw) but that doesn´t mean they are all bad people just makes them people, and good people deserves a second chance (i have gotten a few btw probably record there to!)
Sorry for the wall of text and i hope you get what im trying to say! (writing is not my best skill, talking is thou!)

Ok, well welcome back in Ryu, this was a unaminous decision, however, please take into account the bad feeling you may have left with some people during the time you quit and at least try to make peace with them, if you think they deserve to be upset or not. Xan, if you would also like to come back then please apply as Ryu has done and you will be afforded the same respect and discussion regarding this.
For anyone unhappy, the decision has been made, forgiveness is a tough thing, but its also a liberating thing, I suggest that you try to let bygones be bygones and continue enjoying being a part of MoX regardless.
Everyone see this as a new start with Ryu, and we'll all get on just fine.
