Hey Fluffs,

A real laserchicken.. nomnomnom!
Application looks good, I really like some of your answers :)
Altho you didn't mention why you chose Mining and JC as professions..

Could you please tell me what your stat priority is and which (soft)caps you're trying to reach?
Also I'm just wondering since I see you have Ti'tahk equipped with your PvP gear, isn't that staff better than the one you're wearing on your screenshot?
And I'm sure the Ranged Class Leader would appreciate it if you have some way of showing us what you're performance in raids is like. Think of worldoflogs or other methods of showing us your DPS in raids :)

First of all, I start capping hit. Once hit is capped I just reforge everything Haste or Mastery.
This may sound silly, but please tell me what your hit cap is.. Also, what about haste caps, every caster/dot class has different haste plateaus, any (soft)haste cap you're going for?

You sure? Lighting Rod provides more Haste and Hit aswell as a red socket and I only loose 40 intellect, 40 stamina and 160 Spell Power. So I am pretty sure Lighting Rod is better.
I see, that's my bad then.. I thought with the 2k haste proc it might be better than the Lightning Rod. Not that I would know; not much of a caster person myself ;)

I see, well sounds good to me so far!
I'll leave the rest to the Caster Class Leader, I'm guessing he'll reply later today with any questions he might have ;)

Good luck!

Hey fluffffff:

Can you please answer me the following questions:

Spec:

Why (not)?
Fungal growt
Dreamstate
Lunar power
Feral swiftness
solar beam

Gear:
- Why dont you go for 3101 haste with rest in mastery?
- Why dont you have do you only have 7 epix gems? You want to do as much dmg as possible right?
- Whaddap with the feet enchant? :D Dont be cheap ;)

For the rest I'm just a nub resto druid.

Looking forward hearing from you.

Hi Fluff,
good luck with your application!
@Hordecore: feets enchant is personal stuff in my opinion - I normally do not use speed ones (I changed that for progression on Spine, it's the only reason why I am using it atm).
Haste is pretty same increase in dps even after haste caps, compared to mastery, as you can see below:

Again, good luck! :)

Hey, and thanks for applying.

I just had some questions:

-You say you have had experience with almost all Cataclysm raid content, however on your druid I only see that you cleared Firelands once on normal, BoT once on normal, and some Dragon Soul and Alizabal. Is there a different character you did more raids on? I didn't really see you mention having more raiding experience on your alts, but if that's the case, an armory link would be nice :)
-Mining, worth thinking of changing that to something else, seeing how you could get a bonus of 80 int from most other professions, rather than just a stamina bonus from mining.
-Therazane rep: My 84 mage got about as much rep as your druid, and that's after 1 day of just doing all Deepholm quests, one round of dailys, and maybe 2 dungeons with the Therazane tabard. Needless to say, kinda worth doing those dailys every day and getting that to exalted, for better shoulder enchant.
-Your glyphs look fine, but some of the PvP talents in your spec might be worth switching out. Blessing of the Grove or Perseverance might be nice to have in raids, rather than Feral Swiftness or Solar Beam. Having Fungal Growth and Dreamstate (and not having Fungal Shower) all seem fine to me, they have it's uses in raids, but those other 2 talents might be worth switching out.
-Lavawalker, pretty mandatory, as getting where you need to be fast, without losing too much DPS from moving, is quite valuable.
-You might not have anything else available, but I'd recommend switching out Bottled Wishes for any other Dragon Soul trinket, most (if not all) LFR trinkets are better than Bottled Wishes, except on Spine Heroic of course, or Hagara if you have good burst.

For the rest the application looks okay, reforges look okay too, I'll discuss it with my fellow officers and we'll let you know more as soon as possible :)

Responding to some of my lovely nubs :3

-Lunar Shower is actually a really shit talent :P
-Considering a lot of his gear isn't really BiS yet, not having epic gems in all of them, is not something I'm gonna complain about.
-Haste should/could actually still be a better stat if Wrath doesn't get GCP capped, especially with BL up. I'm not totally sure how high this is for druids, cause mine ain't 85 yet, but as long as you don't get GCD capped (cast times at or above 1sec for wrath), going above 3101 is okay, otherwise reforge away from haste above that point.

-I usually take those graphs with a pinch of salt Vall, as they tell me personally to stack crit :3
-Lavawalker IS pretty mandatory, having to spend less time moving pretty much outweighs 20 secondary stats, and is pretty valuable on stuff like warmaster, zon'ozz, yor'sahj, hagara, and that's half the bosses of DS already.

Just to come back at the gems.
I was hoping to get that answer only just from fluffs.

Why is he/you wearing an epic gem in his/your 384 head then and not in his/your 397 pants?

Tamtoe

ps: I just want some answer for him to understand what he is doing. It makes your decision easier.

@szemere: it just shows a trend on tank snd spank fight, however i do feel that these are helpful. Afterall, these simulates your dps following top end rotation that you are already performing, so I do not see the reason why not to trust them (apart from fight specific reforges).
Also, foot enchant saves you around 7,5% time on moving.
Also, movement speed does not matter on morchok, madness and spine(unless you are blood tank). For me, I always treated them as something personal, not mandatory (especially since its mastery). Not that its the place to discuss it :)

I think in the long run that pure liquid awesomeness covered in a moonkin feathery suit outweights your lack of current content/raiding content experience.

You get my vote all the way. I do wanna add to that: If it is up to me you would get in on farmbosses to get geared and show your worth and if you are good enough and got some extra gear you could go into the harder bosses. Would sitting out 1 or even 2 raids a week would be a problem for you in the beginning?

Please do note as well: this is not up to me since your not melee.
