Max'd Out.
« on: 07 August, 2013, 11:12:38 am »
In my limited time and lowly battle rank may I humbly suggest that Maxes nor run around quite as much as this makes repping quite a hazardous affair.
The two Max's locked down on the heli pad were obviously much easier to rep simultaneously than the ones on the ridge overlooking the (possibly) Octagon.
As an Engineer and Max driver, when ever I see a Max without a repper I usually latch on to one until one of us buys it.
Unless given a specific command I always rep at the expense of kills.

I would tend to agree with this.  A max being repped will last longer than one dodging shells, but running away from an engy or forcing the engy to run into a danger zone to follow them.

Problem is lockdown is a very limited skill. Only really usefull in holding locations. Best thing generally is one max with a dedicate engi. Following him about.

I only meant lockdown as an example of moving in and out of repping range (or not).
As you move about you might find an Eng not available and you'll have to go looking for one giving up your positional advantage.
Appreciate what you mean about TS comms but as you're running around so quickly I could'nt see who was a max or how urgently they need repping.
Personally, I see the max's role as focussed on combat/suppression, (not looking for reppers), and the engineer supporting (repping/ammo) the max.
