Dont go scuba diving when the freaking sea is freaking infested with a billion freaking jelly fish. it freaking hurts like a bitch.

the gash thing is, i dont really have that much to show, i did quite a good job of smashing them with my flippers and then realised the long hook i had for catching octopussys () was very good jelly fish killer, although dodging a whole jelly fish was a little easer than dodging a jelly fish that had been ripping into lots of shreds, making tentacles fly every where!

I have a nice greeny red mark on my elbow about the size of 50p, 1 on my forearm  on my left arm, 2 on my right, 1 on my left wrist and e on my right upper arm.

4 on each leg. ouch.

took a few pics but the lighting is crap so u cant see them to well.

Theres salves that pretty much neutralise the pain with most jellyfish.

Apparently urine takes the pain away, so perhaps try pissing on yourself, or if you cant, get your friend to do it for you

Were you actually scuba'ing or snorkelling? Where was it?


I just got my open water diver qualification couple weeks back, can't wait to save up money and waste it on a load of gear.

scubaring....in malta, id never dived the place we went b4, and i dont think il be going  back. nothing but j elly fish, flying fish and sea weed.

not even an octopus for dinner

there are a few really nice wrecs ive dived in malta. 1 being a Blenheim Bomber from ww2  ver nice

and pfft who needs an open water liscense
