Hello there Gonçalo, And thank you for applying to <MoX>

first off all I would like to ask you some questions, well here goes:

1. do you have any combat logs of recent raids? progression on hc bosses etc? would be much apperciated.

2. Why do you use heartsong - compared to power torrent?

3. Why do you have 1 talent point in improved judgement? - obvious answer tho, but you would benefit much more from the 1 extra talent point in blessed life ( just saying )

4. do you swap around the glyphs for certain fights? and use different specs for different fights? If so, for which fights?

-Sincerely Backalive.

Hello there Backalive going to answer to your questions.

1. do you have any combat logs of recent raids? progression on hc bosses etc? would be much apperciated.
I don't have tbh, didn't though i would need them cuz i was not thinking to switch guild they just stopped for MoP and i want to continue.

2. Why do you use heartsong - compared to power torrent?

The regen for Power Torrent is not even -remotely- close to that of Heartsong. It's about half, assuming perfect conditions.
Proc Intellect is significantly different from real Intellect in that it adds a factor of RNG. Power Torrent has a poor uptime, as established above, so ~75% of the time when you're in tricky situations, your 'amazing Intellect enchant' is actually doing nothing besides giving you a small bit of extra mana it regenerated a while back. It's not giving you the extra spell power or critical strike that you may need at that point in time. On the other hand, Heartsong will have regenerated quite a nice chunk of mana for you to use more Divine Lights with.
If you want an enchant with a large amount of regen, pick Heartsong.
If you want an enchant with a lesser amount of regen but sometimes gives you additional spell power and critical strike, pick Power Torrent.
That's pretty much the verdict on the debate at the moment as far as I know.

I've checked some holy paladins from the top guilds and (almost) all of them seemed to have heartsong.

3. Why do you have 1 talent point in improved judgement? - obvious answer tho, but you would benefit much more from the 1 extra talent point in blessed life ( just saying )

Well maybe for Dragon Soul its just benefit to have 2 on blessed of light and not on improved, didn't have no probs for normals it's just personal choice cuz you have 50% chance to fill one holy power with direct dmg and with that 8 seconds you cannot take benefit from that you for some fights you get direct dmg all the times for a ammount of seconds and with 50% you always get a holy power its just a choice don't like to get near boss to judge we don't have that time to keep melees to get mana just in madness or yorsahj and ye are choices :)

4. do you swap around the glyphs for certain fights? and use different specs for different fights? If so, for which fights?

Ye for Morchok hc i was saoking with tank so i put 3x on Toughness, certain fights i like to use divine protection glyph like warmaster, for hagara hc dunno if go up to pursuit of justice.

Hey Obesekid,

Thank you for your application,

Looks like Backalive already had a good look at your application and I'm quite happy to see you're taking the time to answer his questions!
Your gear seems okay, altho you're lacking quite a few BiS normal DS items. Pieces with crit on it are quite useless as far as I know? However your lack of experience in Heroic modes quite concerns me. Can you tell me what exactly held you back from raiding Heroic modes?

Also I'm wondering weren't you the GM of Into Oblivion, the wowprogress site shows you're the profile administrator of that guild. Could you tell us a bit more about why Into Oblivion decided to go on a break?

Thanks in advance for answering these questions!

And in the mean time I'll be discussing with my fellow officers if we have room a Holy Paladin in one of our raiding teams.

Hey Sagiv,

Yeah you are right, no luck on BiS in Dragon Soul, i want Haste not as my gear is atm with crit just need some luck there :).

I was a officer from Into Oblivion yeah, the GM decided we stop with the guild cuz we didn't have enough people to start our heroic progression and to raid heroic you need heroic raiders we don't had that so we stopped for MoP but i want to raid DS heroics.

Thanks for your time!

After discussing your application with Raid leaders from both teams, I'm sorry to inform you that right now we don't have room for another Holy Paladin on our raid teams.

I wish you good lucking finding a guild that suits you!
