LOTRO Application

I've been playing LOTRO since June of 2010 when I joined the Free to Play beta.  I loved the game enough to subscribe right away.  I launched a LOTRO podcast, called LOTRO Academy, aimed at other new players on Sept 10 2010, the day Free to Play launched.  My primary server is Arkenstone, but I'm a fan of The Shades and have become friends with several members, including Abergar, Achazia, Matheric, and more, in the past few weeks.  So I created a character on Laurelin in order to socialize with my friends here who are in The Shadows.  I'm currently a Premium player, but plan to subscribe again when I can afford to do so.  I do already own the Moria and Mirkwood expansions (not just the quest-packs) and have pre-ordered the Isengard expansion.

I spoke with Thaumatur today in-game and was recruited into the kinship.  I'd be happy to answer any more questions about myself or my LOTRO background, but as a podcaster my LOTRO background is already pretty open.  Anyone who wants to is welcome to listen to the back catalog of LOTRO Academy episodes for a pretty detailed account of what I've been up to in LOTRO for the past year. :)

I'm looking forward to socializing more with the friends I've already made, and to making new ones.

So far my only character on Laurelin is Branick.  My real name is David and I'm from Missouri, USA.  I'm an enthusiast gamer and have been for many years.  Lately I play more on the PC, but I'm platform agnostic.  I have read and agree to the MoX Charter.

Welcome to the the Shadows, I hope you enjoy yourself here

As your main is on a different server your special :)  hopefully you can spend as much time as is available to you during your two week trial period which officially starts now.

Ask us for anything in game and we'll try to help, but above above all be lively and enjoy yourself. Two weeks will fly by I assure you, if by the end of it I think you can get your all important 3 votes I'll ask you to post back here.

Hey Branick! Good to see you here... we already met on Landroval (not the home server for both of us but we were in the same kin together to watch Weatherstock), you might know me there as Sammon (who is my f2p character since my VIP account character crashed while entering Weathertop).

Hope to see some more of you in the next few weeks but as usuall when the summer kicks in the playtime is a bit less frequent than during the winterdays...
