Hi, I was asked to put down a few words here about myself with the view to joining The shadows Lotro Kinship.

I am an aspiring champion class, level 35, Master armourer. I also have several other characters in mothballs but this character (Gustan) has won me over massively after spending my pre beta and since playing Minstrels and Hunters. For some reason, over the past few years the idea of a melee class just didn't appeal to me, perhaps I just wanted a few paces head start if it looked like things were going bad? /shrug!. Anyway, in RL I am old... no... not really old. I have a grand child and am the ex owner of several businesses, but I can still run for the bus (if the porsche ever packs up  ).
I like to RP occasionally, but find it dificult to stay serious for long periods so my RP'ing tends to be for minutes rather than hours, although, I do like to stand in the Pony on occasion and read (take the mickey out of) other peoples efforts. But never mockingly.

I am looking forward to a great experience with The Shadows and if my first two days getting to know them is anything to go buy I will not be disapointed.

Words of warning:

1. I have played Lord of the Rings online since before launch and have rerolled more characters than I care to remember, the most memorable, a level 54 Hunter on Snowbourne when I thought I was going back to EVE. I am not the fastest leveler or the most knowledgable, but I do like fellowships quests and I do take things seriously when I have to. (You may need to tell me when that is).

2. I HATE BOTS. I have a personal vendetta against any bot I find in game and currently have 5 reported and am on the lookout for others. So please forgive my kin chat rantings if I do lose the plot momuntarily.

3. I joke about a lot. If I say something you consider rude, ridiculous, outrageous or just plain wrong, please tell me as I can assure you it is highly doubtful that I would have intended it so. Unless I'm very drunk, in which case you would not be able to decipher the text anyway.  

4. I like to write as a hobby. I may occasionally drop a few things I scribble down into the forums. Please be aware that I have never been paid for anything I've written (and rightly so) but I do like to get other people writing stuff in response which in turn feeds ideas for new material. If you don't join in, just read it and laugh, if you wish.

5. That, ladies and gentlemen is all I wish to tell you about myself at this moment in time. The really bad stuff you'll find out later.
