Okay; the gods have not smiled down on my sorry arse, but i don't want you getting all misty over your keyboards, so i'll cut the biography short.

i heard about you over on Planet Battlefield. Things like "Mature" "UK Guild" and "300 members". Figured someone's gotta like me there, visited this site and liked what i saw.

i'm 56 years old and a pretty average gamer, even tho i've been practicing since the original Doom. Playing the online demo, it soon became apparent to me, that i didn't know wtf i was doing and even when i'd learnt what i was doing, i'd never make Fighter pilot, Commander or Squad Leader. Possibly a half decent medic or mechanic with a lot of practice and a lot of patience on the part of my colleagues.

i just made Private 1st Class, that's gotta count for something right?

A thought for the guys posting on planet battlefield, perhaps you could add 'Pensioner friendly' too

hehe, only kidding, im thinking you will be a great asset to our community and i believe you will enjoy the mature (and sometimes sensible) topics we discuss.

Yeah thanks guys was a blast. Don't worry about the infield demotion i got, i threw a couple of med boxs down and got promoted again.  

Gotta bigger gun too. If i shoot my other foot should cure that limp.

Off to practice in single player so i can fly like Durin. Night guys.
