Greetings, good lords and ladies.


After having witnessed the kind and helpful ways of several of of your members, I wish to apply for this one, Caldephor, in hopes of becoming a part of it.

About me... I'm 30 years old, having spent almost my entire life in Norway. I am an avid roleplayer, both on computers and around a table with friends. Although I level, do instances and other parts of this game, that makes me prone to just spend hours on end in The Prancing Pony, just being social around other players.

I'll admit I'm still relatively new to LOTRO, having only spent a month or so here, but I've come to love the setting, mechanics and activity on Laurelin well enough to know this is a place I'll stay for a long time. Before this I spent some years on WoW to kick the habit after eight years in Final Fantasy XI. Outside of the MMO genre I tend to play various sorts of RPGs and turnbased strategy. I fear alot of my free time will be spent trying to work on the in-game music system now, though... (Thanks, Beles.)

I haven't had a chance to meet with you in-game so I'm looking forward to that, and if all goes well we can get you an invite and start your trial with us (minimum two week so you get a chance to get to know us and vice verse)

I'll add you to my friends list so I know when you are on, can I ask you to do the same.

p.s. It might be helpful for you to type '/who the shadows' when you are ingame as you'll find all shadows on-line

I am very happy to have been able to have a short chat with you in game and I have no hesitation in recommending you for starting your trial. You seem to epitomise the prefect Shadows recruit mature, personable, social and willing to try all aspects of the game :).

This post officially starts your two week trial, it will fly by I can assure you so take every opportunity to chat and group with kin. If after the two weeks you'd like to apply for full membership post back here, or start another post, to request your 3 votes from kin.
