Hi guys,

I joined The Shadows a couple of days back now, after spending some time with some of the existing members over the week or so.  I was very impressed with the people I met, very friendly bunch, and since joining, that feeling has only been enhanced even more.

It was Aldegarn, a recent recruit to the ranks, who introduced me to The Shadows as a kinship, we both coming from the same kin previously, and yes, he is insane isn't he?

About me, well I am 41 year old Englishman, from the northwest of the country, working in the civil service.  I enjoy the outdoors, particularly The Lake District, Snowdonia and the Scottish Highlands, where I am often found to be camping and enjoying walking in the mountains.  I have also been a keen guitarist for the past 30 years, am a collector of fine wines and single malt Scottish Whisky.

As for my characters, well, my first character in Lotro was and still is Celebmegilar, he is a Noldorin Elf champion, he is a Supreme Master Weaponsmith and Scholar.  Celebmegilar has 2 children to his wife who was lost in the wars against Melkor; the eldest being his son; Minuialglaer, a Minstrel and explorer, and a daughter by the name of Elrissa, a hunter, and Supreme Master Tinker.

Denholme Bumblefoot, a burglar and Supreme Master Tailor works as butler to my Elves, and I have recently started a Dwarf Guardian, Angzalag, who is an Armourer, and Theodrith, a Captain of Rohan, who is a Woodsman.  Last but not least is Morissa, a Warden who spends her time permantly operating as my spare bank character.

I am very much looking forward to meeting everyone in game, and to a future full of fun and excitement as Lotro moves us further onwards on our journey to Mount Doom.

Yesterday or today marks the end of my 2 weeks trial within The Shadows.

I would like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome during this time, I have had fun!!

I would love to stay within the ranks, and become more involved in the activities now that my 2 weeks is over, and am looking forward to some fun times ahead.
