Ahoy.

Here's my official application for joining The Shadows kinship in Lord Of the Rings Online.

Toon: Njalas
Class: Burglar lv18 at the time of writing.
Race: Hobbit (Yes I know my feet are big but that way I don't fall easily)

I am casual dude from Sweden, I am 34 years of age (omg 34 already ). In real life I work as an IT/Computer technician. My hobbies/interest aside from the obvious (lotro) is home cinema and music, and ofc hanging out with friends.

My gaming background is as follows (this is over a 5year period roughly): started with World Of Warcraft many years ago while I was still young lol. ---> then to lotro and played about 3 months or so, but had to (unwillingly I might add) quit mainly due to lack of time and increased workload at my job.
Next up was DDO that I really enjoyed and did all the endgame content available at the time (The Shroud etc). By now AoC had been released for a while and I thought hey why not, so I tried that to while maintaining my DDO char as well - fullt levled an Assassin and did most of the endgame content until I realized it was all too much and my addictive playing got the best of me hehe...so I quit both AoC and DDO to concentrate a bit more on real life....thinking back I still feel that Lotro was the best of all the games, with the surrounding Tolkien lore and such, so in closing here I am again ready to commit myself to The Shadows if you'll have me

My ambition with lotro is firstly to master my present class (Burglar) and make it all the way up to the end content before making any new toons. I am totally new to the burglar class so please bare with me if I make some noob mistakes in the beginning Also I am not heavily into roleplaying but I don't shy away from it either, it's kinda new to me so looking forward to trying it out.

My regular playing hours are weekdays roughly from 5pm until midnight, and probably around 5-6pm until waaaayyyy past midnight during weekends, with some exceptions for real life (omg outside where the sun hurts my eyes) stuff.

I found out about The Shadows on the lotro forum, both in the stickied thread and the "The shadows recruiting" thread. The reason for applying to The Shadows is it seems to be a very mature and friendly kinship with a nice balance of just "having fun" and being end content oriented.

What I can offer: well...my help with whatever I am able to help with. I love doing instances/dungeons/raids and group questing. So if you are looking for a loyal and honest member that you can count on I am the dude

Yes I have read (I know it all by heart now - or wait hmm maybe that's the whiskey talking LOL - it's St.Patricks Day and ofc I have to celebrate that - being irish and so hehe...) and accept the MoX Charter.

Oh..I hope it didn't scare you Njalas. Even if we are a mature and friendly bunch of people. The sense of humour is at time a bit silly..haha.

But yesterday I was wondering to why the rubber-pants thing was such a hot discussion for a hour..
But I guess Ting, Daimon and Aldegarn can answer this, or perhaps we should let it rest.. hehe

Welcome to the Shadows, Njalas - we can always use more Hobbits to keep the others on their toes! I hope that you'll like it here. As Celeb said, if you need help with anything, give a shout. I'm particularily good at making armour/weapons/food and at giving advice that will provide you with a lot of fun before getting you killed ;)
