Looking for a Trial
« on: 01 December, 2011, 09:45:20 pm »
Hey everyone,
As some of you know I am an old school Mox Player and after a silly Disagreement with a few of the members on a couple of times... Now that the Mox Wow is under new managment I'd like the chance to get a trial. Prove myself a Moxie again... Things i said was meant for the players alone and not the Community. Please allow me back :) LB

Hey LB, I remember you from the CoH days :)  Hope you decide to give  SWTOR a try too, as that's where a few old CoH ers will be soon.

Good luck with your application, hope you get reaccepted.

This will, once again, be discussed by the council, the offended members are still a part of MoX irrespective of who is in charge of WoW at the moment and that, along with the mulltiple other times your application has been rejected will be taken into consideration.  If I recall the silly agreement was you slagging MoX off to another guild you were planning to guild hop to, my memory is vague but that will be discussed too.

After lengthy discussion the council has decided to reject your application. We feel your actions when leaving MoX were derogatory to the community and have no reason to believe that readmitting you will be of any benefit to us.

We wish you luck with wherever you apply to next.

Every reapplication goes through the same process and is decided on a majority verdict. As per the charter. This was a council decision and although you may be unhappy about it, there will be plenty who are happy.  You say that he only offended a small group, that is bull too, he slagged us off to another guild, in doing so he offended many people, even those not directly involved in the game.

How many times? MoX is a clan in which WoW is but one of the games we play, it does not have its own bubble with its own rules and is subject to the charter as much as anything else we do.

Im not surporting lb's actions he knows he shouldnt have said those things but he did them out of anger at certain ppl at a time when mox wow was going though a lot of shit tbh an quite a few ppl were thinking of leaving myself included.

I just though maybe he could of been given another chance to prove himself but then thats not down to me.

No, his application was denied to the entire community, popularity did not come into it.

You are just interpereting things how you want to see it Granite, I know LB is your friend and thats understandable that you feel upset, but the decision took a week because we discussed it properly, nobody said 'hey, who likes LB?' everything was taken into consideration, with the primary motive being 'how will readmitting this person affect the community at large?' same as with every reapplication that comes in.

The result in this case was the decision he has received.

Over how he spoke about the community, whichever game it was is irrelevant.
