First of all i'd like to thank Achazia for the invite and the friendly chats leading up to it too ofc.

And secondly it's nice to be here, a kin that i have looked up to for a long time, even though the numbers aren't the highest the impact sure is.

With that being said, an introduction might be in order...

...Aldegarn is a captain hailing from Dale, with his halberd (and mustache, always the mustache!) he aspires to keep everyone else at their best, to inspire his companions to greatness and see that they don't falter in the face of danger, and if they do falter - he tries to quickly get them up on their feet with a few choice words of encouragement.

In the virtual world outside the very real world Aldegarn resides in, the person he plays happens to be a swedish, male (i know i know, it seems a few of us came in just recently, i assure you that it's not a well thought out invasion) 20-something on and off and on and off (and on and off once more) again student who never seems to get his studies finished (it's not his fault..honestly!), something that in hindsight seems like an odd choice for a captain to decide as his first character.

Aldegarn (via his "real world" game character) hopes that he can be as good a recruit as he can possibly be, and that he finds the other sides of the universe he wishes to explore here with you.

edit(add): I have a bunch of .abc's here from the old kin ("selfmade" meaning converted real songs and hopefully none that are available at fatlute or similar sites), that i "made" (or well..) for them that i am a bit unsure what to make of. At the moment i think they are something like 103 in the "mainpack" and like 31 or so in the "betapack" (which was/is a pack with more or less untested songs), all are well tried to sort of fit into the main theme (that is no psytrance or too mainstreamish music) and they are all "made" with four players in mind. After chatting with Achazia about it i've decided to make them available for anyone who wants them right now, and then to everyone when (or if) i pass my trial in a sneaky way to perhaps earn some valuable goodwill. Just gimme a shout here (or even better ingame) if you want a list of the songs in question, or if you are even slightly interested or if you just want to yell at me for whatever reason.

Today marks the end of my two week trial (unless i manage to count as good as your random orc smells that is...).

I have had a great time and would like to thank all of you here that has made these two weeks just fly by with your welcoming and heartwarming ways (i know i know, enough with the feelings already and bring in more machomen).

So i hereby ask you to consider letting me in fully into the kin and open up all your deep, dark secrets for me to behold (muahaha)!.
